The Elementary School hosts children aged from 6 to 12. The students are divided into two groups called Lower Elementary (Taller 1 in Spanish, for ages 6 to 9) and Upper Elementary (Taller 2, for ages 9 to 12), which have different activities and responsibilities adapted to the students’ ages. At the age of 6, children move from the Kindergarten to the Elementary School and start a period of ‘transition’, that is, a period of adaptation during which they become acquainted with the Elementary school but can spend time in the Kindergarten if they so wish.
At the age of 6 and until the age of 12, children enter the world of logical and abstract reasoning and experience greater social interaction whilst broadening their subjects of interest.
