NEASC

Since 2022, Gándara International School (GIS) is a full member of NEASC, the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

NEASC is an independent, voluntary, nonprofit membership organization which partners with over 1500 public, independent, and international schools in the US and worldwide to assess, support, and promote high quality education for all students through accreditation, professional assistance, and pursuit of best practices.

Gándara International School (GIS) initiated the accrediation process with NEASC in August 2017, becoming an applicant school in 2018, and a candidate school in 2019 to acquire the definitive accreditation in 2022. Our work within NEASC guarantees that our school has attained a set of high educational standards, while preserving our pedagogical framework and active-learning philosophy.
