Working at Gándara is for me a dream come true.
To me, Gándara has been and continues to be the chance to stop the clock, sit down and observe, reflecting on children’s real needs and looking for the best way to accompany them without interfering with the most authentic stages in their development.
For me Gándara is a great chance to give our children and society a different school model based on principles that I consider paramount to the development of human communities and their individuals.
I believe Gándara is much more than a job; it’s actually becoming my second home.
To me Gándara means respect and growth, for children, companions and families. It is a place where you can freely explore the world from magic and wonder.
For me Gándara is more than I can say with words… it is “my place in the world”, a place where I can just be.
Discovering Gándara was like receiving an invitation to share and experience companionship, listening and observation; an open door to unlearn what had been learned and an opportunity to rebuild a philosophy of life together on a solid foundation where freedom is paramount
Gándara is fresh air, affection, and experiences.
It is as if one opened a window, closed their eyes, and took a deep breath.
Gándara is a change of prism through which a person can develop in their emotional fullness and in affective harmony.
What brought me to Gándara was the search for a fair and respectful education in which one can participate naturally; a school where no one is stigmatized for the diversity of their abilities or characteristics, where creativity is fostered over the memorization of data totally unconnected with the reality that children live.
Learning is not only obtained from books but much more from the experiences and emotions that others help you to achieve.
When I got the opportunity to work here I didn't think about it, I didn't have to do it. I knew it was going to be difficult, exhausting, demanding, I knew it would be worth it. I was not wrong. Nature is always right.
