Iria Sanchez-Puga

Gándara appeared in my life when I was looking for a school for my children where kids could be respected, where they could be caringly accompanied and could develop as the unique beings they really are.

It became the place where we discovered the song of the robin red breast, somewhere where time is measured in the sound of ringing church bells and trees border the playgrounds.

It is there where we can stop, observe our surroundings and feel amazed at all the things we can learn there, and spend hours researching.

It’s a place where we grow together, talk, listen to each other, and we look at and treat each other with affection.

For me Gándara is more than I can say with words… it is “my place in the world”, a place where I can just be.
