Verónica Álvarez

For me Gándara is a combination of feelings and emotions that make me feel, on the one hand, incredibly happy of being part of this small but great family and, on the other hand, grateful for being able to learn and experience the values fostered by the school: solidarity, freedom, integrity, creativity… For all these reasons, I believe Gándara is much more than a job; it’s actually becoming my second home.

Verónica is the school’s Administrative Officer. She holds a Diploma in Managing Secretarial Studies from the Caixanova Secretary School (Vigo).
She has the experience of 19 years working as an administrator, performing direct management and communication with clients.

She then retrained in 2016 at the University of Alcalá (Spain) where she did various courses on advanced computing skills, Office pack, conceptual marketing and international trade, business English, task planning and organization, customer care techniques and public relations, economy, finance and labor law.

She became a mother recently, which spurred her interest in pedagogy, and made her feel more interested in active and respectful pedagogical practices for children.
